The cloud-based workflow platform offered open APIs and good integration points with their existing systems, allowing AgriFutures Australia to implement a best-of-breed technology stack that could be used across all areas of the business. The full solution was live in six months. The research process is now mapped out end-to-end, with all approvals and delegations embedded into the workflow process. Program Managers can now initiate and manage their own projects, from opening a call for applications, to receiving applications, awarding them, and managing the program once the research is underway.
