VANTIQ applications are built independent of the physical deployment environment. Business logic is created without regard to where it will run. After an application is developed, VANTIQ partitions the application and moves the appropriate logic to the appropriate nodes. This is true if there are ten or ten thousand nodes. The developers of the applications avoid dealing with low level middleware. During runtime, VANTIQ moves the logic to the data or the data to the logic as needed.

Developing a Smart City of the Future
As a leading global telecommunications company, SoftBank is always looking for innovative new ways to expand its business and better serve its customers. With the proliferation of IoT sensors and connected devices across virtually all industries, SoftBank knew they needed a way to quickly and efficiently develop real-time applications to take advantage of bleeding-edge technologies and address the pain points of everyday city life.SoftBank created this real-life sandbox at Port City Takeshiba in the heart of Tokyo Japan, naming it the location of their new global headquarters. In order to successfully orchestrate all of these different city systems and provide a seamless experience for both employees and visitors to Takeshiba, SoftBank needed a surefire way to develop and deploy real-time smart city applications.
Building Information Modeling With Digital Twin Technology
In recent years, with the rapid development of cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things, smart buildings are becoming an important driving force for the transformation of the construction and building management industries. Whether it is a new building or a renovation, the market noise and the need for smart building technology are massive.Although the development potential of smart buildings is virtually unlimited, the penetration rate of smart building technology is still relatively low. Bimernet, a high-tech Company in Shenzhen, China, provides professional BIM consulting services in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry realized the enormous potential and pain points for the smart building industry, and began looking for a way to easily orchestrate all smart building systems.
Real-Time Dispatch System
At Mitsuiwa, Customer Engineers (CE) respond to more than 1,000 customer requests (including maintenance personnel, security guards, caregivers, and more) every month. In the past, an operator would receive a request, refer to the personnel’s skills and schedule, and then contact multiple by phone or e-mail to find a match, taking an average of 30 minutes per case to complete. When working at the customer’s location or on the move, the personnel were often not available to take a call. This meant the operators had to contact them again and again, resulting in frustration for CEs and a longer response time for customers. In addition, due to the national decrease in the working population caused by the declining birthrate and aging population, it is difficult to hire more operators and maintenance personnel to quickly respond to issues. The Real-Time Dispatch System was developed to optimize operations within a limited workforce and resolve these challenges.
