Company Description
DecisionIQ was founded in late 2014 to commercialize the IIoT research of Dr. Nagi
Gebraeel. He is a Georgia Power Associate Professor in the School of
Industrial & Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech. His research,
which began in 2002 at Purdue University, is noteworthy on many levels,
including the use of an equipment failure test lab and funding by a
Career Grant from the National Science Foundation. In July-2015, Dr. Gebraeel joined with Co-Founder, Andrew Lewis, to start the commercialization work. DecisionIQ entered the Flashpoint
accelerator in October-2015 and entered the market in June-2015. At
Flashpoint, extensive customer discovery was essential to set the right
feature set for the integration of this research into what is now called
the Genesis IIoT Platform. In 2016 the Company was also a member of the
Coca-Cola sponsored Bridge:ATLANTA innovation program. DecisionIQ's operations are at Georgia Tech's ATDC technology incubator, Tech Square, mid-town Atlanta.
IntelliSense.io aims to be the PARTNER of choice for industrial infrastructure owners & operators, to deliver a step change in productivity and efficiency within their plants, processes & people. They create Internet of Things (IoT) Applications to improve productivity and efficiency in capital and asset-intensive industries. Year founded: 2013
Algo Engines helps provide operating intelligence for the met masts, wind turbines, solar plants and other IoT systems. They have developed cloud-based SaaS platform for Internet of Things (IoT) Analystics. The other solutions are based on SCADA systems, sensors and Smart Meters.
Sightline Systems offers a real-time operations intelligence solution focused on analytics, root-cause analysis, performance management, correlation of data and predictive analysis from any source — critical IT systems including mainframes, applications, storage, databases — down to the process level. Sightline’s powerful analytics go beyond point-in-time data to include over time and real-time trend analysis, with abnormal behaviours or events dynamically communicated for appropriate actions. For more than 10 years Sightline has reported a 95% renewal rate from customers including Fortune 500 and Global 2000 companies in finance, telecommunications, travel, and retail as well as federal, state and local governments.

Large industrial infrastructure such as mining sites, factories, power plants and oil & gas fields will need to adjust to a new world order of increasing operating cost and a variable commodity price, this will drive the need to make significant improvements in productivity and efficiency within a tightening capital budget. These industries produce tens of billions of sensor data points from their existing equipment, systems and processes. IntelliSense.io believes an enormous amount of productivity and efficiency improvements can be unlocked from this data by optimising the configuration of existing equipment and control systems enabled by our modern Data Science software, online simulation software and real-time wireless sensor networking knowledge, that generates data insights with minimum disruption to existing operations.
Algo Engines can work with any combination of operational turbines, farms and portfolios. It gives owners and operators uniform access to capture and analysis of their critical data. Our 3D visualization helps remote wind farm monitoring teams get a feel of the site and its terrain. We identify “at-risk” components based on a robust notification engine through Data Mining of SCADA and event data. This facilitates intelligent operational decisions, therefore maximising generation rather than just turbine availability. Algo Engines can work with any combination of modules, inverters and sub stations. It gives owners and operators uniform access to capture and analysis of their critical data. We aim to use data to identify “at-risk” components in advance and increase generation through Data Mining of SCADA and event data. This facilitates intelligent operational decisions, therefore maximising generation rather than just availability."
Sightline Systems helps manufacturers analyze Internet of Things “IIoT” (also know as Industry 4.0) data from production runs, which helps improve product quality and reduce costs. The advanced Sightline Systems analytics tool can analyze massive volumes of data created during the manufacturing process and correlate the data in seconds. This allows engineers to quickly make process improvements which can improve quality and reduce costs. The manufacturing landscape is changing due to the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). Sightline believes that the answers to pressing operational questions lie within the data, and that the current generation of tools take too long and are too hard to use to quickly reveal critical insights. Capitalize on the all of the data generated from IIoT. Don’t just gather data….utilize it to help your manufacturing operations become better, faster and stronger than ever before. Experience faster time to insight and achieve results in seconds that replace days of manual work copying and manipulating industrial process data sets. Sightline helps a single manufacturing environment or multiple facilities spanning the globe. This analysis and correlation is in addition to the traditional Sightline Systems use for IT Performance Monitoring, Predictive Analytics, Smart Devices and Capacity Planning. Sightline’s EDM solution is also a great way to join the Operations Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) departments.
