Huawei and China Telecom have won GSMA’s Best IoT Innovation for Mobile Networks’ award at Mobile World Congress (MWC) Shanghai 2018. The award recognizes the two companies’ success with an innovative suite of NB-IoT solutions that have won recognition in the industry.

China Telecom signed an IoT business partnership agreement with Bridge Alliance, enabling China Telecom to provide Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine to Machine (M2M) services to multinational enterprise customers across Bridge Alliance’s footprint.

China Telecom is using Keysight Technologies’ mobile-IoT test platform to help accelerate its Narrow-Band IoT (NB-IoT) chipset and module certification progress. Based on the E7515A UXM wireless test set, Keysight said it is the only all-in-one test platform vendor to support China Telecom’s NB-IoT RF conformance test and power consumption verification.

China Telecom and Ericsson are launching a global management support platform for IoT devices. The platform known as ‘China Telecom’s IoT Open Platform’ will enable customers to deploy and manage IoT devices that are connected globally.

China Telecom and Telenor Connexion have presented a common Internet of Things (IoT) Open Platform at the launch event for “eSurfing on the Silk Road, IoT with the World” in Shanghai. This common platform enables both companies to serve their respective customers by providing IoT and Machine-to-Machine (M2M) services on each other’s network.
