Groundbreaking IoT Connectivity Services for operators and enterprises.

Aptilo Networks, founded in 2001, is a leading provider of carrier-class systems to manage data services with advanced functions for Authentication, policy control and charging. We work in partnership with leading vendors such as Cisco, Commscope (Arris and Ruckus), Ericsson, Fujitsu, HP and Nokia.

Although our systems are network agnostic, people mostly know us as the world’s #1 Wi-Fi service control solution for large-scale deployments.

As global market leaders in Wi-Fi Offload, we are experts in integrating with 3GPP core and OSS/BSS systems. Mobile operator customers such as 3 Scandinavia has also deployed Aptilo SMP as a 3GPP PCRF (policy node) controlling the entire mobile service.

Our platform, Aptilo Service Management Platform™ (SMP), has been proven with 100+ operators in over 75 countries.

Aptilo SMP is the base of our two groundbreaking IoT Connectivity services; the Aptilo IoT Connectivity Control Service™, enabling innovative and secure Cellular IoT for mobile operators, and the Aptilo Zero-touch Wi-Fi IoT Connectivity™. Both services are delivered from Amazon AWS.

Aptilo is privately held with Norvestor Equity as the majority shareholder. The founders of Aptilo have held management positions at well-known, innovative companies such as Ericsson, Sun Microsystems and Sonera. Our headquarters is in Stockholm, Sweden and we have regional offices in Kuala Lumpur, Dallas and Dubai.

Aptilo was selected Company of the Year by the independent authority Light Reading. We are also constantly winning awards for our technical innovations. In the IoT area we have so far won the following awards for Aptilo Zero-touch Wi-Fi IoT Connectivity™:

  • Best Wi-Fi IoT Product 2018 at Wi-Fi Now Events
  • Best Wi-Fi IoT Product or Service at CableFax Tech Awards

The Aptilo IoT Connectivity Control Service™, launched in January 2020, has been named finalists in Light Reading’s 2020 Leading Lights Awards for “Most innovative IoT/M2M strategy”.
