Solution	To ensure all their cloud data was secure, Proficio created monitoring use cases that aligned with the CIS Benchmark Requirements leveraging AWS Cloudtrail, VPC flow, and AWS WAF. This led the client to examine their configurations for many of their production and development AWS accounts, using Proficio’s recommendations to create a more strategic and comprehensive cloud security strategy. It also resulted in reports and real-time alerting that brought the client up to monitoring best practices with their various AWS accounts. This client used Proficio’s proprietary automated response solution, Active Defense, to perform automated response against attacks on their firewalls. With log collection of both AWS and the client’s on-premises controls centralized into one platform, Proficio expanded Active Defense to include AWS WAF, correlating logs from both environments to push response when either is attacked.
