The new system has now been operational at Childcare Network for several years. When the company acquires a new school, the system allows for easy cloning and renaming of all the GL accounts for an existing school, eliminating the need to re-create 100 different accounts by hand. The system also features an upload feature for processing several large journal transactions, reducing the time spent on data entry. The Sage Fixed Assets module has proved to be a valuable tool for tracking the company’s fixed assets, allowing for clear allocation to individual schools and systemwide analysis.
