Operational Impact
The integration of Altair HyperWorks and ESAComp software has significantly streamlined and accelerated the analysis of composite structures at RUAG Space. The creation of a bi-directional interface between the two software tools has eliminated unnecessary breaks in the data flow, enabling faster and more efficient analysis. The graphical display of ESAComp results within HyperWorks has facilitated the quick identification of critical load cases, elements, plies, and failure modes. This has not only improved the efficiency of the analysis process but also the accuracy of the results. The solution has been mature enough for project work and has been successfully tested on the MetOp Second Generation meteorological observation satellite. | |
