The solution was powered by MediaCentral, an industry-leading platform designed for media, which provided a unified, integrated workflow. This new system significantly improved the station's capacity, speed, and efficiency. The cloud-based workflow facilitated a seamless two-way flow between the newsroom and field crews, enabling them to access tools at the studio, push content to the field, and select and pull content as needed. WPLG also invested in Avid NEXIS, a robust and flexible software-defined storage platform, based on their previous positive experience with Avid’s storage solutions.
