IBM's 'white hat' experts used actual hacker tools and techniques to probe the BCS network, servers, and PCs for vulnerabilities or configuration errors and try to exploit them. The week-long probe of network resources employed multiple levels of penetration testing. The results were compiled into a detailed report that prioritized specific recommendations for security improvements.
