Operational Impact
The use of 4D visualization and automation significantly improved the construction efficiency of the Chase Center project. The visualization capabilities of SYNCHRO allowed Mortenson | Clark to separate the facility into definable features, clarify the relationship between the base structure and a façade, and accelerate the schedule. The project was broken into manageable pieces with unique, but interconnected schedules, allowing all four cores of the arena to take shape simultaneously. This approach ensured that construction progressed as quickly as possible, while ensuring safety and quality. The use of 4D visualization also improved communication among project team members and kept the community informed of the project’s impact. Despite being one of the most logistically challenging sports and entertainment projects in the United States, the project never fell behind schedule. | |
