The LiftMaster team investigated existing Arrayent-enabled products, including Mattel’s IoT-enabled IM-Me toy, to find a model for connectivity and user experience.

By pairing a low-cost microprocessor with Arrayent’s gateway design and Arrayent’s Development Kit (DevKit), the LiftMaster garage doors could be easily connected, and their controlling operations could be managed with a simple smartphone app.

LiftMaster was able to deliver their connected garage doors after a year of product development and marketing, and it is now a leading product in the LiftMaster line.
