Miller Zell decided to upgrade from JD Edwards World to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1). The transition was facilitated by RF-SMART, which ensured that the warehouse operations remained undisrupted. RF-SMART for World and RF-SMART for E1 have similar screen setups and flows, making the transition seamless for the warehouse staff. The move to E1 allowed Miller Zell to eliminate many modifications and add new functionalities like Labor Management Reporting. This new functionality enables them to track metrics such as order picking time, worker efficiency, error rates, and the cost of mispicks. The data collected will be used to analyze costs and improve worker performance.
