Migdal partnered with Hitachi Vantara to support their infrastructure modernization program. They selected Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform (VSP) 5500 all-flash systems, with VSP G700 and VSP G370 to underpin its open systems environment. Migdal used Hitachi Global-Active Device to migrate data, completing the upgrade without disruption to day-to-day operations. To optimize system availability, Migdal enabled an active-active architecture between data centers 150 kilometers apart using Global-Active Device. The company also used Hitachi Universal Replicator for asynchronous replication to transfer less-critical workloads between sites. For end-to-end management and monitoring of the storage environment, Migdal deployed Hitachi Ops Center Administrator and Hitachi Ops Center Analyzer. To streamline backup and recovery processes, the company added Hitachi Data Protection Suite, powered by Commvault.
