Operational Impact
The implementation of the Board Intelligent Planning Platform has brought about significant operational improvements for EDEKA Northern Bavaria-Saxony-Thuringia. The company is now able to handle large volumes of data and meet increasing demands, with performance sufficient for smooth operation. The new system has also reduced the time spent on data preparation, allowing employees to focus more on analyzing the information. The company now has integrated business and retail planning with comprehensive reporting and in-depth analysis capabilities, which has improved processes. The new planning functionality with direct month-end closing helps the Controlling department to keep up to date at all times. The open forecast allows new values to be entered immediately, and the effects on the results are immediately visible. The departments involved particularly appreciate the fact that they can enter their comments directly in the P&L, saving long discussions and avoiding follow-up questions as all stakeholders have the necessary information at their disposal. | |
