To address the many issues facing its supply chain, HoMedics evaluated a number of solutions. Manhattan’s Extended Enterprise Management solution was chosen because it offered the Top 100 compliance guarantee and the opportunity to implement additional components in the future. Salter saw an opportunity to utilize the existing infrastructure in the U.S. and implement a group solution using Extended Enterprise Management. Extended Enterprise Management tracks shipments, monitors orders, and facilitates returns. It creates shipping labels and sends them to the appropriate facilities for application. In the UK, the solution supplies the company’s freight forwarder with the information needed for customs compliance and provides real-time event updates during transit.
