Hiring analysis of a cloud provider to understand key activities and expansion plans

Blueocean Market Intelligence was asked to analyze the hiring practices of a cloud provider in order to understand its activities and expansion plans across the globe, in terms of products and services, job function and regions. The required information was captured through secondary research from the cloud provider’s website, which contained information on its hiring practices. This research, which was spread over four to six weeks, initiated the following steps in line with the project objectives: The research was executed by capturing detailed and important information about hiring practices of the cloud provider across regions, job functions, types of products/services and customer segments, in order to carry out a precise analysis. After the data was captured, a detailed analysis was conducted to gain insights and arrive at a clear picture of the hiring trends across the globe; it was meant to throw light on the cloud provider’s activities in each region and predict future moves depending upon the type of hiring roles across various regions. The data was cross-tabulated and analyzed in various ways to derive multiple insights from the research study, in order to provide the client with varied predictions on the future moves of the cloud provider. Powerful visualization was brought in to represent the insights derived from the research study, to bring the story alive for the client, in an easy-to-understand form.
