Manchester-based GTSE, a leading supplier of cable ties, tapes, and other hardware consumables, faced significant challenges in managing their business processes. Prior to implementing NetSuite as their ERP solution, GTSE relied heavily on Excel for stock management, marketing, and data analysis. This reliance on spreadsheets was time-consuming and labor-intensive, with every employee spending at least some time verifying data and extracting necessary information. Another major issue was the difficulty in closing their books and producing accurate financial reports. Without these, strategic decision-making and future planning were challenging. The situation became more complex when their online sales increased significantly during the pandemic, and their transaction volume exploded after opening an Amazon US storefront. This led to the decision to implement NetSuite as their ERP solution and consider Celigo, as recommended by a family friend and their partners at Catalyst ERP.

GTSE is a Manchester-based company and the UK’s leading supplier of cable ties, tapes, and other hardware consumables. Founded in 2014, GTSE initially focused on selling high-quality cable ties. However, its product portfolio has since expanded to include drill bits, fixtures and fastening, tools, gloves and other PPE, and electrical and automotive supplies. Their products are purchased by both individual buyers and large corporate accounts, both directly and via their ecommerce sites. The company employs a small but mighty team of 12. GTSE has a nearly ten-year ecommerce history, having used different platforms from Magento to BigCommerce to Amazon. During the pandemic, their online sales increased significantly, and their transaction volume exploded when they opened an Amazon US storefront.

GTSE implemented Celigo on July 1, 2022, and immediately started with several pre-built connections, including six Amazon stores, eBay, BigCommerce, and API and FTP integrations with 3PL for warehousing and fulfillment. The team found the platform intuitive and efficient, with 10 out of 12 employees using NetSuite daily and four proficient with Celigo. One employee even functions as their 'Celigo guru,' managing all daily troubleshooting and error management. Celigo helped GTSE leverage automation to its fullest potential, eliminating their former reliance on spreadsheets and manual data entry. This allowed the team to focus on bigger picture growth projects rather than getting buried in spreadsheets. They were also able to produce the level of reporting needed for strategic decision-making and future planning. GTSE is now looking to add two more website integrations and additional 3PL warehouses in the next six months.
