The modular nature of the Glovia’s ERP product, glovia, meant that DEK could pick and choose only the applications it felt it really needed. DEK wanted to be sure that all the financial, purchasing and sales data that the company had was controlled. Sales order, billing, sales analysis and purchasing modules were all installed. There was also a requirement for some manufacturing and operation modules. The company also needed a system to control the bill of materials and therefore purchased, from Glovia, a master production schedule (MPS) to give DEK buying information. It also required a way of turning raw materials into finished goods, at least retrospectively, for traceability reasons, so DEK purchased a work order module from Glovia too.
