Solution	The Board of Directors chose the infinias access control system from 3xLOGIC from three bids because it met the wide-ranging needs of the County EMS. The system was installed in late 2016 and manages a total of six doors at the main EMS building, two of which are internal, including the medical room where drugs are stored. Two more doors were added at a sub-station location. The infinias system manages access for up to 40 employees, contractors who do radio and computer maintenance, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors. Temporary access is also granted to hospital staff who use the facility for training. Five different sub-groups were created among all employees and visitors, providing each group with the access privileges needed to do their jobs, while ensuring only a few individuals have access to all doors and areas.
