99.co partnered with Vonage and leveraged its SMS API and Verify API to address these challenges. The Verify API was used to implement a user authentication process. When a user registers on the 99.co mobile app or website, they enter a unique PIN code. If the new registrant is a broker, the API instantly matches the phone number to an official broker database, verifying the user and granting access to the 99.co services. If the new registrant is a potential buyer or renter, they enter the unique PIN code they receive via SMS to gain access to 99.co property listings.
