This solution was aimed at automating critical functions such as load assignments, event triggers, and work process forms. Workflow integrates with dispatch systems to automate functions like trip planning, inbound planning, dock scanning, inspections, and more. Dayton Freight also customized the Workflow application to include specialized forms and features geared towards LTL carriers. For example, they created pre- and post-trip exception forms to eliminate paper forms and incorporated a barcode scanner to accurately route freight.
