The company decided to implement DocuWare, a document management system (DMS), to restructure their document management process. The implementation was carried out by a DocuWare Partner, who digitally mapped, tested, and optimized the processes defined in the Quality Management Manual in the system. Existing documents were also imported into DocuWare. The company now uses four main electronic file cabinets for projects, administration, personnel, along with fleet, machinery and occupational safety. Paper documents are digitized using eleven desktop scanners at different workstations. In addition, a standard interface provides integration into an industry solution specially developed for the trade. The company also defined digitization guidelines for all operating areas, ranging from accounting to the personnel department, which now only works with digital employee files.
