They started small, with the development of a QlikView application that used data from its financial system. This application provided insights into revenues, personnel costs and material costs, on an organization-wide scale as well as for each budget holder. Based on these insights, they were able to signal trends and anomalies and evaluate investments with an aim to improve their operational results. After delivering the financial QlikView application, they also made other sources available, such as Beaufort, Plancare and Ortec Harmony.
