Challenge	The City Walk development is a new neighborhood in Dubai that is attracting home-seekers and retail businesses with its modern design, tree-lined avenues, and contemporary street art murals. City Walk is set among 34 low-rise residential buildings, all part of one of the city’s most prestigious and tourist-centric locations—the Safa district of Dubai. Solution	Netix Global B.V. designed an integrated building management system (BMS) with Niagara Framework® at the core that conformed to all project-specific challenges and requirements. The solution was deployed and programmed by Netix’s premier Dubai-based systems integration partner, ODS Global. ODS did this integrated backbone work, without disturbing the existing front-end work stations of individual pieces of equipment and subsystems. The Meraas facilities team now has tools to track the different levels of alarm generation by email. The system was successfully handed over after the complete system validation was done which included Design Qualification (DQ), Installation Qualification (IQ), and Operational Qualification (OQ).
