Chais Monnet, a new hotel located in the heart of historic vineyards, faced several challenges in developing a Building Management System (BMS) and an energy-consumption monitoring system. The hotel, which boasts 92 rooms, 14 apartments, a restaurant, a seminar room, a spa, and a swimming pool, required a system that was not only intuitive and user-friendly but also capable of communicating with all technical batches including domestic hot water, electricity, heating, lighting, and air handling unit. The challenge was further complicated by the need to ensure quality aesthetics of the equipment and the finishing of the wiring and thermostats, to comply with the requirements of a listed historic building.
