The platform was built on a foundation of the Amazon hosting platform, the Denodo Platform, which enabled data virtualization, and the MicroStrategy data visualization platform. The BioStorage data delivery mechanism is founded upon three pillars of value creation - virtualization, visualization, and valorization. To support data virtualization, BioStorage uses the Denodo Platform to consolidate global sample inventory to create a logical data warehouse, which virtually connects global sample data to relevant research data, and enables customers to access sample data anytime, from anywhere around the world. To support visualization, BioStorage helps create visual dashboards and reports of sample data for analytics and business insights.
