Solution	The AMCS platform plays a substantial role in AES's daily operations, from the moment the trucks start in the morning to billing the customers on a monthly basis. AES uses several AMCS solutions, including the Enterprise Management Software (ERP), Route Optimisation, the on-board computer, weighing cells, and units on the back of the truck, as well as reading transponders for lifts to identify customers on the refuse and recyclable collection trucks. The AMCS technology allows AES to schedule trucks on appropriate routes to ensure they lift the correct bins and understand customer issues in terms of recycling. The technology also helps identify and address any contaminated bins to protect margins. The weighing system allows AES to identify any excess weights that may present health and safety challenges for staff.
