Solution	Absolute protects all of the laptops (about 1300 devices and growing) at Intelligrated. “All the laptops we have now as well as new devices we purchase in the future will have Absolute installed,” said Allspach. From the Absolute Customer Center, IT can see the location of all laptops, as well as asset management and software license auditing data. IT administrators can access and view the data within the cloud-based console, or they can generate reports to share more widely. If a laptop goes missing, the Intelligrated IT team can see the location of the device, freeze it, or delete any data it may contain. Because Persistence® technology is embedded in the core of each machine at the factory, the Absolute DDS agent will automatically re-install even if the hard drive is replaced or the machine is re-imaged. In case of theft, the Absolute Investigations team can perform a forensic investigation to determine who has the computer, what they’re doing with it, and whether any data was accessed.
