Operational Impact
The implementation of HyperWorks and its morphing technology (HyperMorph) enabled a new workflow for PSA, making the development process much faster and less error-prone. This led to a higher product quality, as more design variants could be evaluated in the same time. The new workflow resulted in only one final CAD model, and design changes became easier to interpret thanks to the morphed mesh. As a result, exhaust manifold design is no longer on the critical development path. This has significantly improved the efficiency and effectiveness of PSA's engine component development process. | |
